Q: What does DasBags do to protect my credit card and private information?
A: Everything possible. We use PayPal for all credit card transaction. PayPal has long been a leader in website security and is continually updating procedures to guard your data. PayPal has an entire site explaining online security at PayPal Payment Safety. We do not have access to your credit card information. .



Q: Is DasBags.com PCI and PADSS complieant?
A: Yes, we use ebay’s ProStore platform. eBay has long been a leader in website security. ProStores data center facilities were inspected and passed the on-site assessment for PCI DSS compliance. The scan performed by a Visa-approved PCI scanning vendor verifies that the ProStores application and hosting environment are PCI compliant. The ProStores application is PA DSS Certified by PSC, a certified Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC) for the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI report generated by a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor, Alert Logic Inc., under certificate number 4222-01-03, within the guidelines of the PCI data security initiative. Alert Logic Inc., also provides security-related services to ProStores. These services may include intrusion detection, vulnerability management, or security consulting services.
